Camping at Féile Parkfield

What is the best way to enjoy Féile Parkfield and fully immerse yourself in the experience, we hear you ask? Why camping of course!

Parkfield is the perfect location for the cultural celebration that is Féile Parkfield as it is an extremely camper friendly town. The Parkfield Café and Lodge proudly stand in the middle of town and surrounding both you will find a wonderful space for dry camping catering to RVs, campers, travel trailers, living quarters and even tents (for those of you who are hardy campers!) of all shapes and sizes! Parkfield is known to have RVs of 40ft pull into town every year for the famous Parkfield Bluegrass Festival and also for the Parkfield Rodeo. We can handle the big boys! Parking spots are claimed on a first come first served basis however there is plenty of beautiful grounds to occupy and no one will be left without space, we can assure you of that!


Camping FAQs

  1. IS THERE A CAMPING FEE AT FÉILE PARKFIELD?

    Dry Camping at Féile Parkfield is complementary! Our gift to you for coming to celebrate with us!
    Parkfield Café has a couple of RV spots with electric hook-ups available at $50 per night. To book please call (805) 463-2421. These spots are available on a first come first served basis.

  2. WHAT IS DRY CAMPING?

    Dry camping, also referred to as boondocking, is camping in your RV without hookups. No electricity, water or sewer connections.

  3. WHEN CAN I PULL INTO TOWN FOR THE FESTIVAL?

    Feel free to arrive on the Friday before the festival to set up and get settled for the festivities that will kick off on Saturday! When you get to town keep an eye out for the signs which will direct you to the camping areas. Stop wherever takes your fancy but make sure it is not blocking a roadway or gate!
    Feel free to depart at whatever time suits you, you are more than welcome to stay on until Monday but please note that the cafe will be closed.

  4. CAN I BRING MY DOG IF I AM CAMPING?

    Yes! We love dogs in Parkfield! However, they are not permitted in the Parkfield Café, the Lodge or the Community Hall. They are also not permitted on the hikes. We hope you understand this.

  5. CAN I BRING A GENERATOR AND WHEN AM I ALLOWED TO USE IT?

    Why of course! We want you to feel as comfortable as possible. There are no allocated times to the use of your generator however we ask you to be respectful of your fellow campers and also the residents of Parkfield and to use your best judgement in the use of your generator.

Points of note

  • The last place to fill up on gas before hitting Parkfield is the town of San Miguel, a distance of 25 miles, so we advise you to be well prepared in your gas needs.

  • Parkfield Café opening times: Thursday thru Sunday 11:30am - 9pm. We advise you to bring your own breakfast foods.
